The Julesburg School District RE-1, Julesburg, Colorado, Board of Education, is seeking a highly qualified and fully certified Superintendent. The Board wishes to have the successful candidate assume the responsibilities of the position July 1, 2025.
McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C., Executive Recruitment and Development, in association with the Colorado Association of School Boards, has been engaged as the consultant in a search for outstanding candidates. They will assist the Board of Education in identifying and screening the candidates.

Location: 185 miles NE of Denver
The Qualifications

A person who understands and values the seamless integration of online learning and traditional brick-and-mortar schooling. A leader who fosters an environment of rigor and continuous improvement, ensuring that every student can reach their highest potential. A person who is proficient with technology and committed to leveraging technology to enhance educational outcomes.
Accountable - A detail oriented person who is competitive and decisive. An ethical, trustworthy administrator with an in-depth knowledge of school finance and has business acuity. A leader who is organized and flexible. A person who holds themselves and others accountable.
Compensation Range - $115,000 - $145,000 based upon experience, with a negotiated benefit package that includes family health, dental and vision.
