The CMM Programmer, reporting to the QA Manager, has the responsibility of supporting the daily operational activities of the quality function. These responsibilities include:
- Creating and debugging new CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software
- Interfacing with other functions such as engineers & machinists to present inspection data and troubleshoot manufacturing processes
- Acquiring inspection data with CMMs and other measuring devices
- Creating deliverable documentation
- Supporting initiatives within the QA function as the organization changes and grows
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High level of Integrity
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong collaboration skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Minimum of 3 years working in an ISO9001 or AS9100 environment
- Minimum 5 years experience CMM programming
- Zeiss Calypso experience preferred
- Advanced blueprint reading and interpretation
- Advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience programming with limited dimension drawings
- Ability to adapt to change in a rapidly evolving environment
- Independently completes projects and manages time effectively
- Knowledge of quality control methods, techniques, and standards
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs., sit or stand for long periods of time
