McQuillen Manufacturing is a contract manufacture located about 20 minutes south of Rochester in Honeoye Falls, NY. We specialize in the precision machining of components & assemblies for the aerospace & defense industries. We operate a modern 75,000SF air-conditioned facility equipped with machining centers, quality and assembly labs, and office areas.
McQuillen Manufacturing is looking for a dedicated, hard working, and team oriented individual who is interested in helping keep the facility safe, clean, and organized.
This position is specifically for 2nd shift - 4 ten-hour days Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm to 2:30am. 2nd shift offers a 10% shift premium.
Job Responsibilities:
- Replace coolant in the manufacturing machines as needed
- Sort and organize materials and tools needed for manufacturing jobs
- Assemble/move around carts, shelves, and furniture
- Snow removal from sidewalks in front of building entrances
- Mowing?
- Clean common areas such as conference rooms, cafeteria, and bathrooms
- Vacuum and mop floors in common areas and manufacturing spaces
- Empty garbage and recycling bins
- Periodically run water down drains throughout the building
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Adhere to safety protocols while working around machines and other hazardous materials
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Facilities Custodian or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to maintain various types of equipment.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts, fork lift, and other maintenance equipment safely.
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A valid driver's license may be required based on job responsibilities.
