In our time of Company growth, we are seeking a Senior Grant Accountant.
Work Location: Bradenton, FL
Grant Accounting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate financial records for grants, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and organizational policies.
- Monitor grant expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets and funding guidelines.
- Prepare and submit financial reports to grantors, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Review grant agreements to ensure financial terms, compliance requirements, and reporting deadlines are met.
- Tracked and reconciled grant-related revenue, expenses, and receivables.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Assist in preparing grant budgets and forecasts in collaboration with program managers.
- Analyze grant financial performance and provide recommendations for budget modifications as needed.
- Ensure proper allocation of costs and indirect expenses in compliance with grant requirements.
Audit & Compliance Support
- Coordinate grant audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) and other applicable regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in grant compliance requirements and provide guidance to internal teams.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual grant financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping of all grant-related transactions.
- Assist in developing policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls over grant management.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with program managers to ensure grant funds are utilized appropriately and effectively.
- Provide training and support to staff on the financial aspects of grant management.
- Serve as the key point of contact for grantor financial representatives.
