Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities operate smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems within our facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
· Inspect the property to identify necessary repairs or updates.
· Respond to Maintenance request.
· Communicate daily with a Human Resource Manager about issues on facilities
· Diagnose and repair any malfunctions or breakdown,
· Conduct quality assessments, schedule repairs.
· Maintain inventory level of replacement and repair parts.
· Perform general maintenance of the facility and grounds.
· Travel between locations and provide routine schedule maintenance and unscheduled breakdown repairs.
· Perform repairs, installations and fixtures and appliances, and replacement of damaged items.
· Perform necessary repairs or schedule them when a specialist intervention is required.
· Follow OSHA and company safety standards
· Clean internal areas of building, including but not limited to sweeping and mopping
· Gather and disposes of trash, wastebaskets and large refuse containers, and relines with plastic bags
· Other duties as assigned.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Fabricate parts and components as needed to ensure the proper functioning of equipment.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols
Skills
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and mechanical knowledge for effective troubleshooting a plus
- Ability to fabricate parts when necessary to support maintenance tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with staff regarding maintenance issues.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all maintenance activities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
