JOB SUMMARY: Provide Pharmacy Technician services for the Claremore Indian Hospital.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Maintain the pharmacy area in a clean and orderly manner, compliant with The Joint Commission (TJC), Safety and Infection Control standards and Environment of Care, assist in department, facility and Service Unit TJC programs as assigned, participate in all require HIPAA functions. Create and manage records using computer software.
- Maintain current license; attend required facility and department in-service and training. Respond correctly to all safety codes (mock or real), assist to maintain waiting area as a safe environment, free of hazards.
- Perform special assignments as requested to fulfill objectives of the department or facility.
- Greet and direct patients, families, and visitors utilizing public relations principles and practices assist in point-of-sale activities as needed.
- Confer to the Outpatient Director of Pharmacy, abide to all duties assigned, and assist in duties throughout the facility as needed.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Background check required.
