Description

PAY: $90,000 - $110,000

 

JOB SUMMARY: In this exciting role working at MCSG Technologies, you will be leading the proposal development process to ensure timely delivery of all MCSG proposals. This requires creating and outlining all proposal volumes, assisting in writing and editing all proposal documents. At a minimum this will include past and current performance write-ups, technical proposal response write-ups, quality assurance plan / manual writing, reports, manuals, and procedures. The proposal manager will be required to create and maintain a proposal repository with standard proposal artifacts that are commonly included in most proposals (i.e. management approach; task order process; quality; risk management; etc.). The proposal manager will work closely with the business development team and report directly to the CMO/VP Business Development. Location: 100% Remote.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Prepares, creates, modifies and writes primarily government-related business development proposals for the company.
  • Must possess demonstrated ability in leading proposal development from Solicitation Request for Proposal (RFP) to proposal submission. This includes comprehensive knowledge of generating volume outlines and compliance matrices in accordance with all stated requirements in RFP Sections L and M.
  • Must be able to lead a proposal team and work with MCSG Staff to ensure all proposal volumes are submitted prior to the proposal due date.
  • Must have prior accomplishments in proposal writing and editing in all proposal volumes except for Cost/Price.
  • Must be able to facilitate and lead Color Team Reviews to assess the written content for compliance to the RFP requirements.
  • Must possess capability to design/write/editi tables, graphics, matrices, charts, past performance descriptions and resumes for proposals to include translating technical information into clear, effective documents for inclusion in proposals.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively with internal and external capture individuals to produce compliant, compelling, competitive, and winning proposal sections in a highly demanding and dynamic work environment.
  • Must possess a demonstrated understanding of desktop publishing process using Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Professional to effectively generate, revise and finalize properly formatted MS WORD proposal files.
  • Must have both broad and specific knowledge across business, financial, contractual, personnel, project, proposal management, and document development domains, to successfully produce high quality, compliant proposal sections.
  • Must be able to translate technical information into clear, effective documents for inclusion in proposals, which will be reviewed by proposal color team for compliance.
  • Must possess a demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Office (MS WORD, MS EXCEL, MS PROJECT) to include generating and following a formatted MS WORD template.
  • Maintain quality results by using and adhering to templates; following company proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone and maintaining proposal support databases.
  • Meets proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 5 years of proposal development experience.

 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's Business Administration or related field.

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret clearance preferred.
