We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, providing expert advice on automotive repairs, and ensuring a seamless service experience. Your mechanical knowledge and strong communication skills will be essential in building trust with our clients and facilitating effective service delivery.
Responsibilities
Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.Provide detailed explanations of services required, including brake repair, shocks and struts, and diesel engine repair.Utilize your mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions.Manage service appointments and align schedules to maximize efficiency.Handle all transactions accurately and maintain records of services performed.Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.Maintain a clean and organized service area to promote safety and efficiency.Track all parts & timely return cores and incorrect parts for credit.Qualifications
Previous experience with NAPA Tracs point of sale in an automotive dealership or service environment is preferred.Strong understanding of automotive repair processes, including diagnostics and service management.Proficiency in cash handling and customer service practices.Mechanical knowledge related to various vehicle systems is essential.Familiarity with automotive repair terminology, including brake systems, shocks, struts, and diesel engines.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Join our team as an Automotive Service Advisor where your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional service experiences for our valued customers.
