Job Description
Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented supervisor to oversee and coordinate the activities of workers involved in the finishing of cast iron pipe. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Including but not limited to)
- Monitor and examine materials at various stages of production to ensure quality standards are met.
- Observe machinery operations, interpret specifications, and make necessary adjustments to work procedures.
- Suggest improvements to work conditions to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Resolve work-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate time and production records to track performance.
- Ensure production levels meet established targets.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance supervisors to ensure consistent production.
- Directly supervise a team of 15-20 employees, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure required training, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Pure Safety, and Safety Talks are completed daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Oversee and enforce company policies, safety regulations, and disciplinary actions for hourly staff as needed.
- Uphold all supervisory responsibilities in compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
