The successful candidate will have experience in operating furnaces and be able to lift heavy loads. The candidate will be responsible for loading scrap metal into the furnace, transferring metal with a ladle, and pouring metal into molds.

The successful candidate will have experience in operating furnaces and be able to lift heavy loads. The candidate will be responsible for loading scrap metal into the furnace, transferring metal with a ladle, and pouring metal into molds.
Main Responsibilities:
- Loading scrap metal into the furnace.
- Transferring metal using a ladle.
- Pouring metal into molds.
- Cleaning up and performing other duties as required.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to lift heavy loads (over 50 lbs).
- Frequent lifting of loads over 40 times per hour.
- Bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to read and write and understand training and instructions.
- Ability to work in extreme heat.
- Must be able to operate and work around moving machinery, including ladles, cranes, and forklifts.
- Must be able to use proper PPE, including respirators, metatarsal guarded boots, eye protection, hearing protection, aluminized hoods, and leggings.
