Job Summary
The Mold Machine Production Specialist will be responsible for operating all injection molding machines to produce high-quality rubber gaskets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and be able to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate injection molding machines to produce rubber gaskets, including Desma and Maplan machines.
- Maintain constant watch on machine operations to ensure quality of product.
- Notify lead person or Supervisor of any possible machine malfunctions.
- Train other operators as required.
- Dump scrap container during shift.
- Clean equipment at the close of each shift.
- Keep work area safe, clean and orderly at all times.
Requirements:
- Able to sit/stand for periods of up to 8 hours.
- Repetitive grasping and gripping with hands.
- Regularly required to bend, lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals.
- Preferred grammar school education and 6 months of related manufacturing experience.
- Preferred a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
