Plumbing Install Technician

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumbing Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The Plumbing Installer must be knowledgeable about piping systems, water supply networks, and waste disposal mechanisms while ensuring compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and materials required.
• Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and other plumbing components.
• Conduct pressure tests on pipes to check for leaks and ensure proper functionality.
• Maintains a clean equipment/work area. Maintains a clean and serviced company vehicle in accordance with company policy. Performs/assists with maintenance and service/repair work as needed.
• Adhere to all building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with contractors, construction teams, and clients to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Fill out paperwork in a neat, accurate, complete manner.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of customer communications.
• Maintains a clean equipment/work area. Maintains a clean and serviced company vehicle in accordance with company policy. Performs/assists with maintenance and service/repair work as needed.
• Assists in the verification of correct operation of all installed equipment. Assists in the demonstration and provision of training for customer, as requested.

• Learns to establish customer rapport to ensure highest levels of satisfaction.
• Ensures complete customer satisfaction and/or salesperson/supervisor sign-off upon completion of work.
• Completes all paperwork required by management and records hours and all materials used. Collects for performed work, as applicable. Returns all unused material and inventory.
• Identifies and suggests opportunities for quality and cost improvements.
• Actively participates in all formal exercises and on-the-job training.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of McWilliams products and services.
• Informs a manager or team leader of any safety issues.
• Maintain a professional image at all times by wearing company approved uniforms.
• Abide by all standards of performance and ethics.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries professionally.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must meet all qualifications Service Plumber
• Pass State of TX license exam as a tradesman.
• Proven experience as a plumbing installer or in a similar role.
• Proficient in usage of Service Titan.
• Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Demonstrate knowledge of customer communications and ability to provide strong customer service.
• Advanced knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and outdoor settings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Working Conditions: Regularly works in indoor/outdoor elements with extreme variation in temperatures. Climbing, heavy lifting, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching are required for this position. Working in tight or cramped spaces for long periods of time. Willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule, if needed.
