MD&A is seeking mechanically experienced candidates for Second Shift Casting Team at our Bearings, Seals and Hydraulics Division located in Euclid, Ohio. In this role you will be executing the babbitt metal casting processes for new and refurbished bearings and seals used in the Power Industry. Looking for a new career path? Position Requirements
Reports to Casting Work Leader.
Scheduled Hours: Generally, the schedule is 4 – 10 hours shifts in the summer and winter. We work 6 days a week in spring and fall. Second shift is 2pm-12:30 M-F and 10am-6:30pm on Saturdays.

Position Requirements
- Metal Casting Experience. We centrifugal cast babbitt into journal bearings and seals. Material Chemistry knowledge not required.
- Ability to operate industrial equipment such as furnaces, spin machines, metal melting equipment, Lift truck.
- Experience in Overhead Crane and Rigging a plus.
- Ability to use and operate various air driven tools such as die grinders, impact wrenches, needle scalers.
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and directions from leadership
- Strong mechanical aptitude with an ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems
- with little or no guidance
- Must have a positive attitude and be teachable
- Ability to work in a shop environment and stand for up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to adhere to the scheduled hours listed in this ad
- Recent vocational school graduate a plus
- Previous industrial experience a plus, but not required. You are encouraged to apply if you are teachable, coachable and wanting to learn the metal casting trade. We will train and develop the right candidate(s).
