Position Summary
The Clinical Nurse in the Cath Lab is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to cardiac procedure patients. The role requires expertise in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) implants, a commitment to innovation, and a collaborative approach to patient care. The Clinical Nurse will assist in pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care, participate in quality improvement efforts, and ensure adherence to clinical standards.

Ideal Candidate
Education
Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Experience
Preferred: one year of clinical nurse experience
Licensure/Certification
Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS) certification if working in the following department: ASC Post Anesthesia (600761). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if working in the following departments: ASC Post Anesthesia (600761) or Pedi - Child & Adolescent Center (113200).

Ideal Candidate
- Must have Cath Lab or procedural nursing experience and relevant specialty certification (e.g., RCIS, CCRN).
- Charge Nurse experience and involvement in quality initiatives are preferred.
- Ability to manage high-acuity cases, respond to emergencies, and contribute to team success.
