Patient Care Technician - G19E Lymphoma
Shift : Evening / Night. 7PM - 7AM, 11PM - 7AM, 3PM - 11PM.
Four shifts per week. A combination of 2 twelve and 2 eight hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holidays.
SUMMARY
Function : Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse.
Scope : Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care.
Essential Job Functions :
- Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs.
- Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit / discharge and obtaining vital signs.
- Updates and retrieves patient information.
- Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner.
- Acts as part of an assigned care team.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION
Received : Directly from a registered nurse.
Given : None.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Required : High school diploma or equivalent.
Education Preferred : None.
Experience Required : None
Experience Preferred : Experience in an acute care setting as a Nursing Assistant
Licensure / Certification Required : None.
Licensure / Certification Preferred : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Other Required : Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
