Postdoctoral Fellow - Cardiology (Palaskas Lab)

A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the Department of Cardiology. This position is focused on supporting immunotherapy toxicity research infrastructure within the institution. Duties will include development of a database of immunotoxicity clinical variables, collection of patient clinical data, working with data systems for automated data capture, biospecimen tracking and coordination of acquisition, and working with multidisciplinary teams for coordination of paired biospecimen capture and clinical data record keeping.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Create a comprehensive database of immunotherapy toxicity variables.
• Perform quality and validation checks of automated data collection of immunotherapy toxicity variables.
• Establish workflows for immunotherapy toxicity biospecimen collection and quality control.
  
  

Eligibility Requirements

The candidate must have a graduate degree, be familiar with immunotherapy toxicity, have expertise in database management, and be familiar with computer programming specifically in languages SQL, R, and python.

POSITION INFORMATION

MD Anderson offers full-time postdoc positions with a salary ranging from $64,000 to $76,000. depending on the number of years of postgraduate experience.
