Our commitment to providing the highest quality compounded prescriptions is demonstrated by holding an accreditation through the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB), a division of Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC).

Here you are treated as an individual and not a diagnosis. From non-standard dosages and combinations of drugs, to custom drug delivery methods like topical creams and lollipops. We provide alternative treatments, which are frequently effective in relieving symptoms of multiple sclerosis, autism, cancer, thyroid problems, and other conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in providing medication and other healthcare products to patients
- Prepare and package medications for dispensing
- Maintain accurate patient records and profiles
- Process prescriptions and ensure they are filled accurately and in a timely manner
- Handle inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries from patients and healthcare providers
- Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards in the pharmacy

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred
- Register as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with common prescription medications
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory management
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Familiarity with non-sterile compounding is a plus

Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of prescription compounding procedures and equipment.
- Proficient in using pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory management
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and abbreviations used in healthcare settings
- Ability to provide exceptional patient service and deliver compassionate care
- Skilled in maintaining accurate patient records and profiles while ensuring confidentiality

We are a compounding only pharmacy specializing in meeting unique patient needs through customized prescription solutions. At MD Custom Rx you will use the skills you learned in your pharmacy technician program. You will be working in an accredited compounding pharmacy under the direct supervision of pharmacists. You will be compounding using active pharmaceutical ingredients resulting in various dosage forms.
