We are seeking a dedicated and professional Client Services Representative to join our clinical laboratory team. The ideal candidate will serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth communication between clients and the laboratory. The position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling client inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, responding to inquiries regarding laboratory services, test results, and procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients regarding sample collection, processing, and reporting of test results.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions and follow up on any pending issues.
- Provide support to clients with billing and insurance inquiries, resolving issues and escalating as necessary.
- Work closely with laboratory staff and other departments to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Handle client complaints or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner, ensuring that issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
- Assist with onboarding new accounts, coordinating sample pickups, and preparing laboratory reports.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to remain up-to-date with laboratory services, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred).
- Previous experience in customer service or client support (experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is a plus).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality practices is preferred.
- Ability to maintain a positive, client-focused attitude while managing challenging situations.
