Employment Type: Full time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: General Summary: Using the Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance and applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of routine patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates fundamental patient/family information to health care team. Identifies and communicates variances from patient goals. This job description, performance appraisal and competency assessment applies to all Registered Nurses who have successfully met performance expectations for Registered Nurse. The employee supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital. Minimum licensure/certification required (if applicable): Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. BLS certified. Additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements. Minimum licensure/certification required (if applicable): Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. BLS certified. Additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements. Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required: Demonstration of acceptable performance in administering medications according to Holy Cross Hospital’s standards within the probationary period. Basic computer skills to include data entry and retrieval. Reads, writes, speaks and comprehends English language. Must have visual and auditory acuity.
