Job Responsibilities
As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist/Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality patient care and support to ensure a positive experience for our patients.
- Operating diagnostic equipment such as EKG machines and digital X-ray systems.
- Collecting and processing lab specimens and performing other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a relevant field such as medical assisting or radiologic technology is preferred.
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required; current BLS Certification is also mandatory.
