Locum Tenens Physician Opportunity in Massachusetts
We are seeking a skilled locum tenens physician specializing in Internal Medicine with a focus on Gastroenterology to join our dynamic healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-call coverage for unassigned patients
- Admit patients as required
- See an average of 4 patients per shift
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine with fellowship in Gastroenterology preferred
- Active medical license in Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Specialty Skills Required:
- Proficiency in various gastroenterology procedures, including but not limited to:
- Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
- ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography)
- Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Liver biopsy
- Esophageal manometry and dilatation
