As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires a commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other appliances.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment according to schematics and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct field service visits to customer locations to assess equipment performance and resolve problems.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to design solutions for complex technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks.
- Drive company van to transport tools and equipment to job sites as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in HVAC service or appliance repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and their components.
- Experience in field service roles is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
