Summary: The Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator is an individual contributor responsible for delivering and setting up inventory at customer-designated sites. The role involves performing physical or administrative tasks related to storing, distributing, and fulfilling orders of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. The Coordinator checks goods distribution against purchase orders or invoices and is responsible for transporting company cargo to customers. The role also includes conducting inventory tasks in accordance with local VMI processes, following proper guidelines for the use of all equipment, ensuring equipment is clean and safe, and reporting concerns to the management team.

- Minimum of 1 year of relevant warehouse, inventory counting, or delivery experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
- Willingness to learn and work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature.

- Ensures the accuracy of shipments to the customer.
- Assists with the VMI customer space/placement, sets up the appropriate area to receive shipment of material, and stocks product in the customer's designated area.
- Follows the customer order from pick-up at Vallen's warehouse/DC to delivery and setup at the customer site.
- Takes customer spot buy orders when needed and relays the information to the CSR or AR.
- Recommends changes to the customer inventory levels based on usage.
- Ensures that bar code labels are up to date and legible for scanners to read and advises management when new barcode labels are needed.
- Scans barcodes at the customer site to generate customer orders.
- Maintains awareness of min/max, reorder point/quantity, and reports observations back to management.
- Assists in the annual inventory (cycle) counts on consigned goods.
- Presents information and responds to questions from clients, customers, and managers.
- Ensures all VMI Point of Use areas follow 5S methodology.
- Performs other duties as requested.
- May be asked to assist with loading/unloading vending machines in the warehouse.
- May be asked to assist with receiving and other duties in the facility as needed.
- Will lift up to 50 lbs on occasion unassisted.
- Steel-toe shoes required.
