Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Land Acquisition Specialist to join our Richmond American Homes team. In this position you will play a key role in underwriting the purchases of new communities for Richmond American Homes.
The Land Acquisition Specialist will play a key role in the Company's land functions and assist in evaluating land acquisition opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and analyze Due Diligence materials for project feasibility.
- Assist managers in the preparation of corporate land acquisition approval packages.
- Support and assist with entitlement/zoning documents.
- Conduct research to assist managers in determining project timelines and schedules.
- Conduct general research in selected jurisdictions and solo-markets to facilitate the identification of land opportunities.
- Perform various administrative tasks to assist in the land acquisition process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, real estate, business or related field.
The candidate will possess good human relations/interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well with all levels of management.
Good negotiation skills.
Great planning and organizing ability. Skills in exercising and completing initiatives, problem-solving, and sound decision making.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Compensation
- Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
- FLSA Status: Exempt
- Bonus Type: Year-End Discretionary
