What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP (Direct Support Professional) position at MDH Residential?
MDH Residential is currently hiring for Residential direct support staff. This position includes responsibilities as following: Integrating individuals with disabilities into the community, teaching individuals the skills they need to be successful, hygiene and self-care skills, household chores, cooking, and coping skills. Duties of staff also include light housekeeping, cooking, laundry, and passing medications. The goal of direct support staff is to promote independence of the individuals we serve to have a better quality of life. Requirements are high school education or GED, pass background check (including FBI clearance), and must be over 19 years old.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
