Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product Display: Demonstrates products, utilizing samples or catalogs, to emphasize their salable features.
- Quoting and Contracting: Quotes prices, prepares sales contracts for orders obtained, and ensures timely delivery to customers.
- Sales Order Management: Enters sales orders into the computer, proofreads them for accuracy, and verifies customer information.
- Communication: Maintains strong phone presence, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time.
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of 2 years' sales experience in the metals industry or an Associate's Degree.
- Phone Presence and Listening Skills: Strong phone presence and listening skills are essential for this role.
- Mathematical Abilities: Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, multiplication, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
