Our Direct client is seeking a Release Train Engineer for 12 months in Newark, NJ (hybrid 2-3 days in office)
The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a highly visible leadership role requiring a unique blend of strategic and tactical skillsets. You will help establish, launch and lead multiple Agile teams in a period of enormous change and excitement for Prudential.
- Manage the flow of value for the Agile Release Train (ART) using tools like Jira and Miro
- Work very closely with Chief Product Owner, Solution Architect, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
- Establish and communicate calendars for iterations and program increments
- Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, PI Pre-Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos and other relevant ART-level syncs and ceremonies
- Synthesize, track and communicate PI Objectives, risks, dependencies, and key milestones with all stakeholders
- Experience in Agile delivery and implementation
- Experience as Release Train Engineer
- Fluency in multiple Agile methodologies and proven experience in scaling and implementation across teams of various maturities including start-ups
- Experience navigating matrixed businesses and functions at all organizational levels, including senior leadership
