Position Overview:
The Kids Club Supervisor will lead the operations of the Kids Club area, creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children aged 6 weeks to 11 years. The Supervisor will work closely with the Kids Club team and other departments to deliver an exceptional experience for O2 Fitness members and their families while upholding our mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Kids Club, ensuring a high-quality experience for children and parents.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in alignment with O2 Fitness standards.
- Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and professionalism.
- Staff Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of Kids Club staff to deliver exceptional care and service.
- Create and post monthly team schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to team members.
- Program Development
- Plan and promote engaging activities, events, and programs, including special events like Parents' Night Out, Pizza and Movie Nights, and themed weekly activities.
- Ensure staff have the supplies and resources needed for crafts, games, and other activities.
- Customer Engagement
- Interact daily with members, addressing their questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Foster relationships with parents and children to create a welcoming and supportive community.
- Promote additional O2 Fitness services to enhance the member experience.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Maintain open communication with Area Directors, General Managers, and Front Desk Supervisors.
- Coordinate with maintenance to address facility needs promptly.
- Keep leadership informed of all aspects of Kids Club operations.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience working with children.
- Previous experience in customer service, health club, or hospitality settings is preferred.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are highly desired.
