Position Overview:
You'll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of medium-duty diesel vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that our customers' fleets remain reliable and efficient, meeting the high standards of performance our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on medium-duty diesel engines, including but not limited to 6.7 Powerstroke and Cummins ISB engines.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with office staff to explain issues and recommended repairs.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a diesel technician, with a focus on medium-duty vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, components, and diagnostics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE Diesel, OEM-specific certifications) preferred.
- Ability to work on light duty automobiles a plus.
