Senior Electrical Engineer

Job description:

MDP Engineering Group is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with MEP industry experience to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects, mentoring and training staff, and designing and implementing complex electrical systems for commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects from start to finish

• Mentor and train junior engineers

• Design and implement complex electrical systems for commercial buildings

• Conduct field surveys, engineering calculations, and assessments of existing electrical systems

• Prepare reports, cost estimates, and specifications

• Collaborate with other engineers and departments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering

• PE license required

• 8 years of professional experience in commercial building design projects

• Strong leadership, communication, technical, and organizational skills

• Experience managing a team of engineers

• Strong knowledge of building, energy, and electrical codes

• Experience with LEED Certified projects

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Visual, and REVIT

• Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary: $125,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
