Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Schedule: Full Time
Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

General Summary and Job Functions:
A hardworking and energetic Warehouse Associate is needed to fill a position in our Grand Rapids area office. This opportunity is available for a team-oriented individual with a strong ability to accurately multitask. The successful candidate will be willing to go the extra mile to meet warehouse and inventory needs, interact with customers, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assisting walk-in customers, listening to their needs, and providing appropriate solutions
- Walk-in order entry and follow-up to ensure timely delivery
- Combining a rich product inventory knowledge with extensive know-how and a full commitment to keeping our customers moving
- Earning the trust and confidence of the customers we serve
- Receiving, picking and packaging orders in an accurate, timely, and professional manner
- Prioritization of shipments and regular stock counts
- Regular communication and coordination with inside and outside sales staff
- Building grounds maintenance along with maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma
Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills in a setting with potential frequent interruptions
Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects and perform tasks in an organized and timely manner with careful attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and rubber power transmission products
Previous experience in a warehouse setting
Hi-Lo experience
