The Sales Department at MDSolarSciencesTM, a leading dermatologist-developed SPF Skincare company, is looking for an experienced full-time sales account representative to work at our Corporate Office in Westport, CT. This is a hybrid position that offers two remote days with a requirement of three days in the office.
Job Summary
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys sales and account management and thrives in a competitive, results-driven environment. The primary responsibilities will be to assist the VP of Sales to maintain and grow the professional channel verticals including doctors, spas, independent retailers and e-commerce partners. Through B2B sales, account management, and business development you will play a key role in a team-based selling environment by helping to generate new sales and upselling current accounts. Ancillary responsibilities will be to assist with professional collateral, weekly e-blasts and other marketing initiatives to help increase brand awareness and sales momentum.
· A flexible, motivated self-starter attitude is a must.
· Pleasant, upbeat phone demeanor is a necessity.
· Comfortable with making outgoing cold calls and calls to existing accounts.
· Must be well organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize.
· Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to handle objections.
· Proficiency in Excel and ability to analyze sales data and trends.
- Passion for beauty/skin care and product knowledge a plus.
- Willingness to learn brand ethos, and product attributes.
- Experience with CRM systems and NetSuite preferred.
