What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regulatory Analyst I position at MDU Resources Group, Inc.?
Under general supervision, coordinate the department's filings and related activities for all aspects of utility, gas, and electric regulatory functions, in accordance with federal and state regulations to enable the completion and timely submittal of reports and filings required by various industry and regulatory agencies. Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day to day work routine for self and others.
Job responsibilities specific to this position include providing administrative support for the department's filings from initial filing through final approval. Creating and maintaining both tariff sheets and rate books. Maintaining department documents and records, in both hard copy and electronic form. Preparing periodic reports and filings as assigned. Monitoring department filings and distributing information to appropriate department personnel. Assisting both internal and external customers regarding the department's various filings. Oversee the regulatory section of the Company's website.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a working knowledge of business principles and theory at a level normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, engineering, or related field.
