Come join an innovative leader in the healthcare industry! MDVIP is seeking a field-based Practice Operations Manager supporting the organization’s employed physicians. This role will be responsible to lead practice operations activities for MDVIP employed Physicians while remotely managing the physician’s practice staff. The qualified candidate can provide leadership, direction and ongoing administration and management for all aspects of physician operations and ensures regulatory and MDVIP policies and Practice Management Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are implemented for efficient, effective management of all practices. Additionally, is responsible to ensure adherence to compliance, training and education, SOPs, and best practices are performed in the physician office setting. This role actively provides support and leadership to complete due diligence activities regarding acquisitions and divestitures. This role reports to the Associate Director for the Practice Operations team.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the internal departments to ensure effective operations related to purchasing, credentialing, HIPAA compliance, OSHA compliance, government agency reports and MIPS performance. Coordinate an effective and timely response to any patient-related complaints or issues.
- Work as a liaison with the MDVIP-approved EHR team in the training and development of physicians and staff.
- Work with the practice staff and physicians to foster an environment that promotes growth and retention.
- Analyze and review practice operations with physicians monthly. Prepare and conduct physician/management meetings and contributes to decision making. Manage practices within established budgetary guidelines.
- Enhance revenue cycle management process by identifying missed opportunities in areas such as billing timing, discrepancies, and admin errors. Generate and review reports and collaborate with Revenue Cycle Analyst to identify effective actions and communicate within the team to generate and sustain improvement.
- Supervise and direct work of all non-physician staff, including recruitment and training, as well as general management functions including payroll, staff development, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Responsible for facility management, including assessing equipment/service needs and making appropriate recommendations.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and at least 5 years of related management experience in an outpatient practice setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience where two years related experience equals one year of schooling. MDVIP physician-facing experience demonstrating the knowledge and skills required may substitute for specific prior experience.
- Experience in managing multiple physician practices.
- Experience with general ledger and physician practice expense reporting/bookkeeping, budgeting.
- Full cycle recruitment and management of clinical and non-clinical related staff.
- Strong knowledge of clinical safety regulations/guidelines.
- Experience utilizing EMR billing system applications, including dashboard / checklist modules. Specific experience in EPIC or athena highly desirable.
- Additional areas of demonstrated skills include Operations Management, Financial Analysis, Medicaid & Medicare Billing, and Project Management are highly desirable.
Corporate office role: As a corporate based role in Boca Raton, FL, employees are expected to work from the corporate office, however a hybrid corporate office and work from home schedule will be available when not traveling. Travel is estimated to be 70% as needed.
