As a result, a full-time position is available for an Entry-Level Civil Engineer in our Transportation group. This opportunity is available at the following office locations: Wauwatosa, WI; Madison, WI; Green Bay, WI.
Responsibilities include assisting the design team with preparation of roadway plans; performing design calculations and geometrics; preparing design reports; performing construction inspection on highway and bridge projects; assisting with quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
A valid driver's license and some travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college or the ability to obtain the degree within 9 months of hire date.
The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:
- WisDOT and/or other DOT highway construction projects
- Highway design tasks
- AutoCAD Civil 3D software
- GEOPAK software
- A WisDOT technical certification and an EIT certification
