Project Traffic Engineer/Planner

As a result, Mead & Hunt is looking for a Professional Engineer to join our transportation group. This opportunity is available in our Denver, Colorado office location.

Responsibilities include:

• May serve as a project engineer, technical resource, and/or project manager
• Prepares engineering and design documents, computations, and quantity estimates
• Prepares, analyzes and/or modifies reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects
• Develops construction cost estimates for projects
• Prepares and monitors budgets for specific tasks within assigned projects
• Responsible for timely completion of specific tasks within assigned projects
• May direct or supervise other project staff's activities/Mentor
• Performs quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual
• Visits project sites to monitor progress and handles routine construction administration
• Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects
• Attends client meetings
• Other duties as assigned

A valid driver's license and some travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university AND a minimum of four (4) years related experience. Professional Engineering License required.

Salary Range: $88,000 to $119,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
