What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer position at Mead & Hunt?
Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth and has a position available for an entry-level water/wastewater engineer. Responsibilities include preparing engineering studies and reports, preparing design documents; design computations, quantity/cost estimates and construction documents; serving as a project representative during design and construction. Some travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil, environmental or related engineering from an accredited college or university.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
- Familiarity with water and wastewater subjects, with experience in one or more of the following project types:
- Water supply & treatment
- Wastewater collection & treatment
- Pumping, heat transfer and other unit operations
- Biosolids treatment and handling
- Stormwater
- Hydraulic, heat transfer or treatment software(s)
- To possess or the ability to obtain EIT certification and then professional engineer registration
