Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for a Technology Systems Designer.

Pay range depending on experience is $80,000 - $110,000
Responsibilities Include
- Designing communications, security and audio-visual infrastructure and layout of technology rooms for new and renovation projects
- Participating in technical meetings with clients, construction staff, and project team members
- Assisting with review of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, and studies
- Assisting with the development of construction cost estimates
- Performing construction administration tasks and site inspections
- Regular travel will be required.
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification or the ability to obtain at least one certification listed within two years of hire, and a combination of education and/or experience totaling seven years of relevant experience.
- Associate degree (or higher) in technology design, engineering technology, or related field plus five years of experience in building design or construction (technology systems preferred)
- If no degree, must have at least seven years of experience related to building design (at least four years of technology systems experience).
- Designing technology (ICT) systems involving new and/or building renovation projects
- Designing security electronic systems
- Participating in technical meetings with clients and project teams
- Designing low voltage and/or electrical systems
- Revit, AutoCAD and BIM (Building Information Modeling) software
- Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI)
- American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification or related registrations or certifications.
