Salary Range: $67,000 to $83,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.

As a result, a full-time position is available for a Transportation/ Transit Planner at our Baltimore, MD or Wilmington, DE office location.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this position may include the following:

Assists in the development of the following types of plans/ studies:
- Transit service planning and operations studies, strategic planning, transit needs and performance assessments, transit priority planning and design, micromobility studies, station area planning, parking studies, corridor and land use plans, pedestrian and bicycle network planning.
- Assists in the analysis and preparation or modification of reports and planning memos for planning projects
- Visits project site to gather data
- Assists in the development of materials for client and other public planning meetings
- Attends project coordination and/ or public meetings – days or nights
- Responsible for job specific quality system tasks as defined in quality manual
- Assists in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects
- Other duties as assigned
A valid driver's license will be required.
The successful candidate will have all the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in planning or a related field from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of two years of relevant work experience
- AICP preparation underway
The ideal candidate will have any or all of the following:
- Experience with grant research/ writing/ management.
- Experience with Adobe Suite (i.e. Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Experience with long range transportation or modal-specific plans
- Experience working with demographic and transportation usage data
- Experience with R, Python, and Tableau for data analysis/ visualizations
