As a result, a full-time position is available for a Utility Coordinator! This opportunity is available in Lexington, SC or Raleigh, NC office.

Responsibilities Include

• Assisting with the design of water/wastewater and other civil engineering projects
• Coordinating with multiple utility owners, SCDOT, NCDOT, municipalities and regulatory agencies
• Preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects
• Preparing design computations and quantity estimates
• Developing construction cost estimates for projects within the department
• Directing and supervising other project staffs’ activities
• Responsible to project manager and/or project team for quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual
• Visiting project site(s) to gather data
• Attending project coordination meetings - days or nights
• Performing lead function with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects
• May perform project management duties on certain projects
  
  

The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Background

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related field from an accredited 4-year college or university and a minimum of 4 years experience
• Valid driver’s license
