Key Responsibilities
- Design Team Leadership & Engagement
- Assigning Estimating Work
- Assigning Design Work
- Interface with Production Team
- Implementing & Auditing Standardized Business Practices
- Designer Recruiting, Hiring, and Onboarding
- Designer Discipline and Terminations
- Designer Productivity
- Designer Quality Control
- Customer Service and Standards
- Communicate Design Issues and Concerns with General Manager and Corporate Design Manager
- Communicate Design Ideas and Best Practices with General Manager & Corporate Design Manger
- Work alongside salesperson, customer, and subcontractor to ensure all schedules are met.
- Expedite and resolve issues as they arise
- Occasional Travel
- Other duties as assigned
- 4 years of industry and component design experience.
- Proficient in industry and supplier software applications.
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or Associate’s Degree required
- Rough Carpentry, Project Supervision and or Project Manager experience will be considered.
- Blueprint reading and estimating.
- CAD and BIM experience is preferred.
