Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recruiting and Training Assistant to support our dynamic HR team. This role is vital in ensuring we attract, onboard, and develop top talent to drive our company's continued growth and success.
Location: This is an on-site position located at our Columbus, Nebraska Administrative office.
- Assist Recruiting Coordinator with various recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, job offers, and onboarding activities.
- Assist in organizing career fairs, job fairs, and other recruitment events.
- Work with the Training & Development Manager to create or identify new course content.
- Assist with training administration, creating course assignments, building curricula, managing employee profiles, and handling platform configuration.
- Maintain training records and track employee development progress.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and training.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience in a Recruiting or HR support role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
