What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at Mead Veterinary Medical Center?
Mead Veterinary Medical Center is looking for a positive, energetic and very motivated veterinary technician to join our team! This position could be part-time or full-time. We have awesome hours of M-F 9 to 5 and Saturday 8 to 4. Flexibility and dependability is a must. We are a fast pace, two doctor clinic providing exceptional medical care with outstanding customer service.
Job duties include but are not limited to writing medical notes, perform blood draws, administer IV's, give vaccinations, SQ injections, place catheters, run in-house diagnostics, fill prescriptions, patient wellness knowledge, ability to provide client education, holding for exams, induce and monitor anesthesia, perform dental cleanings, answer phones, and schedule appointments.
