Job Description :
Meade Engineering is seeking an experienced Director of Facilities to oversee the planning, maintenance, and expansion of our facilities. This role requires a strong leader with expertise in facility management, operations, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will ensure our buildings, infrastructure, and physical assets are maintained to the highest standards while also leading new facility development and expansion initiatives.
Job Duties :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive facilities management and expansion strategy to support operational efficiency and company growth.
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects for existing facilities, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Lead the planning, site selection, and development of new facilities to support business expansion.
- Manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and procurement to ensure cost-effective and high-quality facility services.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, implementing best practices for risk management.
- Lead a team of office coordinators providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Develop and manage budgets for facility operations, maintenance, capital projects, and new facility construction.
- Implement sustainability initiatives to improve energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental impact.
- Oversee space planning, renovations, and workplace optimization to enhance functionality and employee experience.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align facility operations and expansion efforts with company goals and long-term strategic planning.
