Job Description:
Meade Engineering is seeking a Plumbing Drafter to support the mechanical design team with Revit-based drafting and production. This role focused on drafting and modeling plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, and gas piping for large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong Revit skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to efficiently produce high-quality construction documents.
Job Duties:
- Create and modify Revit-based plumbing system drawings for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical facilities.
- Work closely with engineers and designers to ensure accurate and coordinated documentation.
- Maintain consistency and adherence to project standards across all drafting work.
- Update and revise drawings based on redlines, markups, and feedback from engineers.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company drafting guidelines.
- Assist in organizing and managing drawing files and documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience using Revit for plumbing drafting in commercial or industrial projects.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on data centers, industrial buildings, or mission-critical projects.
- Familiarity with MEP drafting and coordination.
- Understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and best practices.
