Senior Analyst – M&A and Planning - This is a fantastic opportunity for an up and coming professional to join an A organization that has experienced tremendous growth. Our client is a multi-billion-dollar company that has grown tremendously since its inception 10 years ago. The company is backed by a major private-equity company and is planning an IPO in the next 12 months. This tremendous growth has caused the need for a motivated, analytical, and flexible Analyst or Senior Analyst (DOE) – M&A and Planning.
The company will support the growth of the Senior Analyst with mentoring as well as training and workshops. The Senior Analyst – M&A and Planning is a robust role that will support the entire finance function including Finance, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Corporate Development. The Senior Analyst – M&A and Planning is part of a collaborative and highly skilled team, and intangibles will be key.
The Senior Analyst – M&A and Planning will take part in commercial opportunities, due diligence and financial modeling for potential investments and divestitures, assisting with budget and forecasting, and more.
Key responsibilities for the Senior Analyst – M&A and Planning:
- Create and maintain complex financial models
- Valuation analysis for potential acquisitions and mergers
- Research and analyze industry trends
- Assist with Investor Relations activities as needed
- Assist with creation of presentations for senior leadership, Board of Directors, private equity, and other investors
- Serve as finance support for corporate finance, commercial, treasury, investor relations
- Assist with evaluation and analysis of the financial impact of corporate asset transactions and their structures
- Other ad hoc financial and business development projects as they arise
Requirements:
- B.S. of Finance or related degree from 4-year accredited university
- M.S. Finance or MBA is a plus but not required
- Minimum of 1-3 years of finance M&A transaction experience with an investment bank or private equity firm or as part of the corporate development team of an energy company.
- Experience creating and maintaining complex financial models, industry and market analysis, creation of financial presentations and investor decks, detailed analysis for due diligence of acquisition, mergers, and divestitures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Advanced Excel skills required, experience with Tableau or similar BI tool is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary : $110,000 - $145,000
