Role Overview
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction. The PM serves as the primary liaison between the client, project team, and subcontractors, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion safety and serve as a safety leader on all assigned projects.
- Oversee project organization, scheduling, and implementation from pre-construction through closeout.
- Conduct in-depth project reviews to understand scope, schedule, costs, and deliverables.
- Develop and execute project work plans, identifying required resources, sequencing activities, and establishing milestones.
- Monitor and update project schedules to ensure timely completion and adherence to contractual commitments.
- Collaborate with a Project Controls Specialist to update schedules, Work-in-Progress (WIP) documents, and facilitate project control meetings.
- Manage project financials, including budget planning, cost tracking, and ensuring profitability.
- Oversee procurement and subcontractor management, ensuring compliance with project scope and contract terms.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Lead team meetings and maintain clear, consistent communication among stakeholders.
- Manage risks and resolve issues proactively, ensuring project continuity and success.
- Supervise and mentor field and office teams, fostering professional development and collaboration.
- Ensure quality control measures are implemented and maintained throughout the project.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, schedule, safety, and productivity.
- Review and approve purchases, change orders, and subcontractor pay applications.
- Prepare and submit regular project reports, including work-in-progress (WIP) reports, financial reports, and issue tracking.
- Ensure project closeout is completed smoothly, including final inspections, punch lists, and as-built documentation.

Requirements
- BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in construction management, including knowledge of industry processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6, Procore, Accubid, and Bluebeam.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and contract documents.
Position Details
This is a full-time position requiring travel to project sites, specifically in Louisiana and the Midwest, including Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Actual Compensation will depend on several factors, such as location, professional experience, education, relevant training, transferable skills, organizational needs, and current market trends. Please note that the salary range is subject to future adjustments.
