Chemical QC Laboratory Technician
Our client creates and exports their chemical products internationally. This company prides itself on the quality and positive impact of its products.
They are seeking a Chemical QC Lab Technician to join them on a long-term contract opportunity. This role pays $28-$32/hr. and includes weekly pay from Meador Staffing Services.
This role is in-office and located outside of North Houston/Conroe. In-person attendance is required for this opportunity. This role observes DuPont shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform QC analytical testing according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
· Troubleshoot QC laboratory instrumentation as needed.
· Utilize user-level knowledge of QC instrument software.
· Conduct QC tests on incoming samples to ensure material quality.
· Dispose of laboratory waste while adhering to safety protocols.
· Prepare and standardize reagents and solutions as needed.
· Assist with inventory, including restocking, receiving, and documenting levels.
· Complete shift turnover documents before end of shift.
· Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 4 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in CHEMICAL MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to work DUPONT SHIFT SCHEDULE (12-hour shifts; rotating days and nights)
Compensation and Benefits:
- $28-$32/hr.
