Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Fabricate components as needed to ensure proper functionality of equipment.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic quality of facilities.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in troubleshooting complex systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
Skills
- Proficiency in facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks.
- Ability to supervise maintenance staff effectively.
- Excellent command of the English language for clear communication.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with residents and staff.
- Capability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
