What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator (Nights) position at Meadow Gold Dairies Hawaii?

We are seeking a full time Forklift Operator to:
- Select Customer orders using pick sheets and/or barcode scanners.
- Pick orders in FIFO rotation, paying close attention to code dates and the quality of items being shipped.
- Accurately record items being loaded onto trucks or trailers. Ensure all paperwork is adjusted correctly to reflect the correct number of units shipped.
- Operate material handling equipment (electric standup, pallet jacks, and sit-down forklifts) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Help with physical inventory as needed.
- Verify item quantities and code dates on purchase orders or receiving documents.
- Operate various types of material handling equipment to unload and put away pallets of product.
- Participate in the general housekeeping of the warehouse.
- Perform similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- 6 months of distribution or warehouse experience
- Strong team player that thrives in a fast moving environment
- Proficient in the English language
- Able to communicate effectively in written and oral form
- Carry our both oral and written instructions
- Perform basic mathematical functions- addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs
- Able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb, and sit intermittently up to 10 hours per day
- Able to work in temperatures ranging from -15 °F to 88 °F
